The American Kennel Club's Agility League Championship is scheduled for 6–8 November 2026 at the James B. Hunt Horse Complex in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is an upcoming US team event, not a result or a UK fixture. The AKC says more than 100 teams are expected; winners and the final running order cannot be reported before competition.

What makes this a league championship?

The AKC describes local teams competing through a qualifying season before the national meeting. Its published levels run from Elementary through Freshman, Sophomore and Senior to PhD. Those are this league's own competition labels, not universal grades to transfer to a UK show. The organiser's event announcement says the weekend will also include AKC Fetch Tests. It reports a larger field than last year, but the figures are organiser claims made before the event, not independently verified attendance or results.

Can readers still enter?

The event page gave 15 October, midnight Eastern Time, as its entry deadline. That date has passed as of this review, so the page's older “entries are open” wording should not be read as a live invitation. The organiser says a team or dog needed to complete a qualifying season in its stated 2025–26 window. We have not established any UK participant, visitor travel arrangement, dog admission condition, ticket price or livestream. Check the current AKC event page for schedule or status changes.

Why follow it from the UK?

For UK agility followers, a US team format offers a different way to watch how clubs organise dogs at varying experience levels. It does not change Royal Kennel Club rules or eligibility at home. Our Crufts 2027 programme explainer covers a separate upcoming Birmingham event with its own dates and competitions. Compare the organiser rules before drawing conclusions about heights, classes or qualification across the two systems.
