Cookies and map choices

Essential storage

Orchard uses authentication cookies when signing in and anti-forgery cookies for protected forms. They enable the requested service and protect submissions, with expiry following session/sign-in settings. They are not advertising cookies. Local storage grooming.analytics-consent.v1 remembers only your analytics choice until changed or cleared. Other browsers and devices have separate choices.

Optional analytics

If allowed, Google Analytics receives page-use and device information and may set first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies, normally lasting up to two years subject to provider/browser settings. We use aggregate page views, search-result counts, map opens, business/source website visits and article reading depth to improve the directory. Search text, account details and claim evidence are not sent. Referrers contain the website origin only. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Page locations exclude queries; private account, sign-in and claim-review pages do not send analytics page views.

Keep analytics off stops future analytics. It does not undo data already sent. Remove existing cookies using browser settings and contact support about data rights. See Google's privacy policy.

Interactive maps

No external map tiles load until you select Load interactive map. OpenStreetMap then receives your IP address, our website origin and requested map area, but not the page path or search query as a referrer. Device location is not requested. This choice applies to the current map page; use list view or reload to stop further tile requests. Previous requests cannot be recalled. See OpenStreetMap's privacy policy.

Reviewed postcode data, including Postcodes.io, supplies approximate locations. Confirm the actual salon or appointment location with the business.
