Local information should be accurate, respectful and safe. Public listings and articles go through review. Tell us when something needs attention.
Report a concern to supportWhat we publish
Listings use reviewed business websites or authorised representatives' information. Archived imports remain drafts until checked. We do not publish copied Google reviews, unlicensed photographs or inherited verification badges. Articles are reviewed for usefulness, rights and factual claims. Significant errors are corrected when established.
This pilot has no public customer reviews, paid placements or sponsorships. If introduced, advertising will be clearly labelled under separate rules. Directory order is not a quality ranking or endorsement.
What is not allowed
- False ownership, fabricated reviews or misleading prices, qualifications or badges.
- Defamation, threats, hate, harassment, scams or unlawful material.
- Private details, confidential documents or copied text and images without appropriate rights.
- Malicious links, spam or unsafe animal-treatment advice.
Private claims and edit proposals are not public posts. Never put passwords, financial data or identity-document numbers in the claim box or a listing.
Corrections, takedown requests and complaints
Email support@groomnear.com; no account or fee is needed. Include the page URL, business or article name, what is wrong, why it concerns you and a safe way to reply. For a rights complaint, explain your connection and the rights involved. Send only necessary evidence; we can agree a private channel for documents.
We assess reports, prioritise safety, fraud and credible unlawful-content concerns and may temporarily hide content while investigating. We check sources and may seek a submitter's response. We correct, remove, restore or retain content as appropriate, explain the outcome and keep a proportionate private decision record. We do not unnecessarily share your private contacts or evidence.
We aim to acknowledge ordinary complaints within five working days; this is a target, not a guaranteed resolution time. Data protection complaints are acknowledged within 30 days, investigated appropriately and answered without undue delay. We explain any further information needed and keep you informed of delays.
Disagree with a decision?
Reply to support with the decision reference and new evidence and ask for reconsideration. Ownership access is not transferred without independent checks. Applicable legal remedies remain available. For personal-data concerns you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Urgent dog-welfare concerns
Support is not an emergency or veterinary service. Contact a qualified vet for urgent health needs and the relevant emergency or welfare authority for immediate assistance. Appointment disputes should first be raised with the grooming business.
